To use information in form of written and spoken language or rather to be able to access any information, software applications are necessary and helpful which can handle human language. Such software applications use methods of natural language processing (NLP) or rather computational linguistics.
Examples for NLP applications are amongst others: Making accessible text content, automatic text summarization as well as natural language user interfaces.
Natural language processing applications i.a. consist of different NLP components such as lexicon, word analyzer and sentence analyzer and application-specific components.
